We are absolutely thrilled that the widely acclaimed poet and author Lemn Sissay OBE has created Agile, a poem that explores the many facets of agile leadership, especially for Cirrus.
The poem, which premieres at The Agile Advantage virtual event today, is the centrepiece of a brilliant short film that features choreography by Chad Taylor, captured by filmmaker David Gennard in Manchester, UK.
Taking place from 7 – 8 July, The Agile Advantage will bring together a global audience of leaders to explore the latest thinking in agile leadership. Sissay’s new creative work invites audiences to take a moment of pause during the virtual event, and presents the themes of agility, innovation, diversity and disruption in a thought-provoking collaboration of poetry, dance and film.
“As leaders face the challenge of adapting with speed to the new world of work, we wanted to take pause for thought with this creative approach to storytelling. The poem will bring to life the themes we’re exploring over the course of The Agile Advantage event. It is a celebration of innovation, diversity and disruption, achieved through collaboration and creativity. We hope it may spark new ideas for our audience of senior leaders to bring to their own organisations.”Cirrus CEO, Dr Simon Hayward
