Cirrus was thrilled to welcome George Osborne MP to our Cheshire HQ on Friday 8 November to officially open our Sandfield House offices. We are based in the Chancellor’s Tatton constituency and he takes an active interest in business across the region.
As we pride ourselves on our digital capability, we asked the Chancellor to unveil a digital plaque (see above) rather than drawing the traditional curtain.
We were delighted that so many Cirrus colleagues and guests joined together to welcome George Osborne and celebrate our success.
“It is great to see a new business being so successful in the heart of Wilmslow,” said the Chancellor. “The team at Cirrus were buzzing with ideas and are using our town as a base from which to win clients from all over Great Britain and abroad. I always do everything I can to support exciting new enterprise such as this.”
George Osborne was happy to spend time with us to learn more about our business and our clients. We talked about some of the wider economic challenges facing the UK today, and also focused on some of the opportunities that can help organisations become increasingly successful as the economy recovers.
The conversation was very relaxed and enjoyable, all topped off by some celebratory champagne and cake.
