The Agile Advantage event, hosted by Cirrus and Accenture, featured fascinating insights from experts in agile leadership and actionable advice to help you create a more agile organisation.
The industry-leading virtual event, held on 7-8 July, explored the importance of agile leadership in our world of digital disruption and uncertainty. Introduced by Simon Hayward, CEO of Cirrus and author of The Agile Leader, the event explored core characteristics of agile leadership including collaborative achievement, customer vision and disruptive thinking – all of which create innovation and drive constant improvement.
There was a keynote from influential thought leader Gary Hamel, illuminating insights from Accenture’s Christie Smith in conversation with Clare Hayward from Cirrus, a great interview between Accenture’s Tanarra Schneider and author Erica Dhawan, and fascinating conversations and panel discussions featuring leaders from Ampol, BHP, GSK, Procore and Standard Chartered. A truly global event for a truly global audience.
More than 500 leaders across the globe joined this event live and the feedback has been fantastic, with guests praising the quality and variety of content.
One highlight for many was our short film featuring the specially commissioned poem Agile from the acclaimed British poet Lemn Sissay. This explores the themes of disruption, diversity and collaboration which are so critical to successful agile team working. Many clients and colleagues have told us that they found this moving and inspiring.
You can take a look at the individual event sessions to take a deep dive into the characteristics of agile leadership and hear how clients have brought these to life in ways that have had a dramatic impact on their organisations.
